At AV Communications, we believe that the ethnic consumer like any consumer, views the world – and advertising- through their own cultural filters; filters formed by language, religion, values, shared experiences that go beyond what can be externally observed. Which is why, when we conceptualize and develop advertising campaigns, we go beyond merely adding subtitles, changing the language in typesetting, voice-overs or casting ethnic-looking models. We look into relevant attitudes and cultural cues. We respect their unique experiences; thus, delivering advertisements that resonates to the ethnic consumer.

The Advertising Review Board of the Government of Ontario recently appointed AV Communications as one of the few multicultural agencies to provide strategic advice on diverse language communications in Ontario as well as develop creative communications and public relations programs for multicultural communities based on as and when appointed by the ministry or government agency client.

As a qualified agency, AV Communications will be expected to adapt mainstream advertising and marketing communications for multicultural audiences or develop new ones; design & produce creative materials as well as prepare media recommendations and media plans to reach multicultural audiences. Having successfully qualified for inclusion in this pool, AV Communications will be invited to bid for assignments pertaining to the multicultural marketing communications services for various campaigns & projects for the Ministries and Agencies for the Ontario Government.
