AV communications continues its push for Canada's multicultural recognition in the advertising industry with two 1st place wins in the NAMIC EMMA 2017 competition.

The Toronto-based multicultural ad agency won top honours in Digital and Experiential Marketing under the Marketing Tactics category for their work in “The Beauty Channel” that targeted Chinese Canadian women for Elizabeth Arden's new product line. The winning campaign employed an unconventional strategy that engaged an ethnic segment with an evident bias against the presenting brand.

In recognition of the top marketing campaigns aimed at multi-ethnic audiences, the National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC) presents the Excellence in Multicultural Marketing Awards (EMMA) at a luncheon conference held this year in New York City.
